#ExperienceYEDANG - Not Your Usual Unlimited KBBQ Place

YE DANG - Located along Meralco Ave. It had been there for quite some time, but just recently they had a change of management. Who would have thought that its not your usual Korean BBQ Place where you can enjoy the usual Unlimited Korean BBQ. Here in Ye Dang, even though they're not serving unlimited meats, but guaranteed their serving quality pork, beef and chicken plus Authentic Korean dishes that we're all familiar with.

One factor for me whenever I chose which Korean Restaurant I visit would be their Banchan. Honestly speaking, other Korean restaurants would just serve "basta-basta" or should I say "tinipid" side dishes. I can say Ye Dang isn't like that even though they also offer the usual "refill-you-can" side dish, you'll definitely see the quality for each sides:

Yachaejeon - Vegetable Pancake
Gamja Jorim - Korean Potato Side Dish

Eomuk/Odeng - Fish Cakes
Kimchi

My top favorite would of course be the Eomuk/Odeng, I can eat it all day! (like what I did during my trip in Seoul lol like seriously, every corner they're selling one haha). Next would be the Sweet Potatoes, I like how its sweet and salty at the same it. Ye Dang, used to charge per plate on each refill before, but due to the change of management it was changed.

                  Samgyeopsal (Pork Belly)

Bulgogi (Marinated Beef)

Dak Galbi (Chicken BBQ)

I mentioned not-the-usual-unlimited-KBBQ right? But what can Ye Dang guarantee is that they're offering premium meats. We're able to try 3 of them and I'll tell you secret: they're using soju for their meats to tenderize it making it still flavorful after grilling it. Oh, btw. They're using charcoal grill here ;)

Y'all know that I love cooking Korean dishes at home. Kimchi Pork Belly, Japchae and Bulgogi are some of the few dishes I've successfully cooked at home (believe it or not my family loves it whenever I cook Korean food for lunch or dinner :P). So. I got really excited when I knew that we're being served some of their Authentic Korean Dishes as follows:

Sundubu-jjigae or Soft Tofu Stew
Flavorful and not too spicy!
Dolsot Bibimbap (Stone Pot Bibimbap)

Japchae
I love how they served the Japchae! It's how you can see it on the photo. It has a generous serving of meat. Like I said, hindi "tinipid".

Rabokki (Ramen + Tteokkbi)
I usually cook this at home as its very easy to make! You can tell them to adjust the spiciness depending to your liking.

Grilled Mackerel
Not a fan of Mackerel, but it was surprisingly good.
Pajeon
It tastes good with the generous filling!

Korean Cravings Satisfied, Indeed! I like everything at Ye Dang, no bias just because I'm a big fan of Korean food, but because everything was really good. The place is currently under renovation, so you might notice that the ambiance is not that pleasant, but hey! You can just focus on how good the food is.
