Dining at Alejo would take you on a culinary journey, celebrating the rich flavors and heritage of traditional Filipino cuisine in an elegant and inviting atmosphere. The tables were elegantly set with fine linen and delicate floral centerpieces, creating a scene of refined beauty and sophistication.

The restaurant carefully sources ingredients to ensure freshness and quality and as per its head Chef, Kris Espinosa, they're after that fusion life, and so their menu dances between international sophistication and Filipino soul.

At Alejo's, there's something for everyone! From meat dishes to pasta, pizza, and sandwiches, they've got it all. If you're looking for a healthy option to begin with, try their Native Balayan Salad!

They have two soups: Ginger Carrot Bisque, a creamy blend of sweet carrots and zesty ginger, and my top pick, Local Seafood Chowder. It's creamy with a rich seafood taste, balanced by sweet veggies and a hint of ocean flavor.

If you're craving noodles or pasta, Talangka Pasta is a top choice. It has a special taste with the rich flavor of crab and thin shreds of crab meat on top, giving it a unique texture and a hint of sweetness. For those who prefer traditional pancit, Pancit con Bagnet is the way to go. It combines Filipino stir-fried noodles with crispy bagnet, creating a delicious fusion. And if you're up for something different, try Kaldereta Ravioli. Tender ravioli filled with beef, carrots, potatoes, and bell peppers, all in a savory tomato sauce infused with Filipino kaldereta flavors and topped with plenty of cheese, is a delightful twist on the classic Italian dish.

Filipino meals always include rice! At Alejo, you'll find dishes that go perfectly with it. The 16-hour slow-cooked beef in Peanut Sauce is a labor of love, resulting in a rich, flavorful dish that melts in your mouth or the Salpicao, tender beef cubes are sautéed in a tasty garlic and soy sauce mix and topped with toasted garlic bits.

If you're hungry for chicken, Alejo has just the thing: Roulade Inasal. It's a tasty mix of Filipino and European flavors, with chicken rolled up with classic inasal spices, grilled just right, and served with rice and tomato. And if you're in the mood for Duck Leg Adobar, they've got that too! The duck leg is soaked in a delicious mix of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns, then cooked slowly until it's tender and bursting with authentic Filipino adobo flavor. Who's ready for a bite?

But wait, there's more! How about sinking your teeth into their 10oz USDA Grilled Rib Eye Chimichurri? It's cooked just right, giving you a deliciously charred outside and a juicy inside. Plus, it comes with a zesty chimichurri sauce made from fresh herbs, garlic, and tangy vinegar. Or, if you prefer simplicity, try their Grilled Pork Chop with Curesa Sauce, tender and juicy pork chops grilled to perfection and smothered in a rich, savory sauce. And don't miss their Thrice Cooked Pork Belly, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly with a crispy outer layer.
