BISTRO CHARLEMAGNE; A taste of delectable Asian Fusion with a hint of Western cuisines. It was named after the owner, Charlemagne Lim. I've been to Bistro Charlemagne, Ayala Mall Feliz branch twice and I am glad that they've opened a new branch now in Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
When we enter the restaurant, it has the same aura in their Ayala Malls Feliz branch, warm, cozy interior, red velvet and snakeskin furnishings and friendly faces of the staffs. Tables are filled with white plates and glasses that are all well-organized. One thing I noticed is that Bistro Charlemagne is always located near gardens and/or balconies (I haven't really been to their Solenad branch), its just that the Ayala Malls Feliz branch is also located in the garden area which I can say is nice as it allows the natural light to enter the dining area.

Pan-seared ox tongue with mushroom, asparagus and white wine. "Raved as the most addictive lengua dish" - COULDN'T AGREE MORE! It was indeed addicting!

| Creamy Seafood Baked Rice (Php415) |
Shrimp, squid, fish fillet, crab stick, tossed in a rich cream sauce topped on rice and finished with melted cheese. Just order this and it'll be all you need as it already has the rice + seafood for viand in it.

This is indeed a must try for seafood lovers! Octopus should be chewy right? But this isn't! It's so soft that I can just say pass to the "chewing" part. Kidding aside, but its how I can describe how soft this slow-braised octopus in special garlic butter sauce and garlic confit.

Sauteed prawns covered in melted cheese and cream sauceeeeee. Indeed so flavorful!

Lightly battered deep fried shrimps tossed in Bistro Charlemagne's special sweet chili-mayo sauce and chili oil served with a salad on the side.

They have Lengua in Brown Sauce then definitely they also have it in white sauce! Braised ox tongue with cream sauce and sauteed mushrooms. It's one of Charlemagne's personal favorites. :P

Definitely the star during our visit! Tried this during my visit in Ayala Malls Feliz branch and this finely rolled strips of beef tenderloin with cheese sauteed in teriyaki sauce DIDN'T DISAPPOINT! Couldn't reiterate more, but this is A MUST MUST MUST TRY!

A family recipe passed down through generation from 1950's until today. Their classic house special crispy chicken with freshly made savory gravy.

Succulent thrice-cooked pork cheeks blended with creamy sauteed chicken liver sauce on top of fries.

Slow-cooked ox tongue and ox tripe mixed with special livermansi mayo topped with chicharon bulaklak. Bistro Charlemagne indeed recreates the Filipino classic sisig, but in a more mouthwatering way.
