Bon Appetea Milagrosa Katipunan Celebrates First Year!



They paint on their signature "peacock wall" was barely dry when lockdown started in March. "My daughter loved painting that with her art teachers", mused the owner of Bon Appetea Milagrosa Katipunan.

COVID19 struck businesses globally and the restaurant industry is one of the most badly hit. As bigger and more established eateries closed shop left and right, how is Bon Appetea Milagrosa Katipunan still standing?



Hit the Ground Running
On the first months of operation, partnerships with all delivery platforms were made already Lalafood to supplement her own delivery service. The staff live a stone's throw from the branch except for some, who chose to sleep in when public transportation was suspended.




While most restaurants still figured out how to adjust to operational restrictions, Bon Appetea continuously serviced homes and businesses with its wide selection of affordable food and beverage items. The team has never been so busy! They outfitted footbaths, temperature scanner and alcohol dispensers as well as socially distanced chairs for the waiting area of riders. Disinfection was conducted twice a week.



Community Support
The branch is located in the crux of Quezon City, Pasig and Marikina near Quirino Memorial Medical Center so Bon Appetea Milagrosa Katipunan donated meals and face shields for the medical and security frontliners in the area. They also maintains support for Animan Kingdom Foundation (AFK) in advocating the use of cage-free eggs.
